Why I'm Running For U.S. Congress

I feel very blessed.  The community I live in has been supportive of me and my family, time and time again.  The community has helped me face challenging personal adversities with compassion, encouragement, and remarkable generosity.  They even helped build my house.  And for that I will always be grateful.

I also feel a deep responsibility to give back in return.  And I believe one of the best ways I can do that is by giving my community a Congressman who cares more about fighting for local families than simply following orders from Nancy Pelosi and fighting for her radical political agenda that even includes the impeachment of our Commander-in-Chief.

One of the most important lessons I learned serving my country in three tours of duty is that to succeed you have to have a clear understanding of the mission.  You have to also be willing to stand side-by-side with your fellow soldiers.  Clearly, the Washington politicians have no understanding of this.  And unfortunately, our own Congressman is part of the problem.  I want to be part of the solution.  And that’s a big reason why I’m running for Congress.

My priorities are clear.  Help advance the current agenda of putting America First.  Protect our borders, while welcoming only those that follow our laws.  Make sure every veteran receives the benefits they have been promised.  Support our local police and firemen.  And keep Iran from ever becoming a nuclear threat.

I will also support healthcare that protects coverage for pre-existing illnesses, keeps families in charge of their own health decisions, and gives consumers choices.  I will lead the fight against any drug company that gouges consumers by charging unfairly for prescription drugs.  And I will oppose government run socialized medicine that will only lead to massive tax increases, inferior care, and long waits to see your assigned doctor.

There’s one more thing I believe in…term limits.  I have no intention of becoming one of the many career politicians who seem to care much more about their next election, then the next generation.  And I will work hard to bring term limits to Washington.

I’m ready to once again serve.  Are you with me?  I hope you will join my campaign as my running mate.  Together we can accomplish great things for our community and for our country.
